The Johnsons - Japan“We are here in Japan as missionaries under the Department of World Mission of The Evangelical Covenant Church. Although we are not always sure what that means or how to define our work, we can say with confidence that we love Jesus and wish to follow him....trying to live our lives as closely as we can to the model and example that he provided for us. “ For more information about the Johnsons, please visit their website. |
The Petersons - JapanJim has a strong connection to Japan and the people there. In his own words, “Gunma Prefecture is about 100km north of Tokyo and my roots go pretty deep there. Our family lived in Gunma from the time of my birth until my first trip to the U.S. at age 5. I still have lots and lots of vivid memories from those early years. We lived there again for a year when I was in the first grade (1968-69). After 2004 I continued to travel to Gunma at least once or twice a week for the next 4 years since I was pastoring a church there.” For more information on the Petersons, please visit their blog. |
